How to Get the Most Out of Virtual College Fairs
Virtual College Fairs are FREE and open to view for long periods of time. Unlike in-person fairs, you
can search colleges by attributes that are important to you, return to watch recorded presentations
later, and download materials from colleges…all from the comfort of home!
- Navigate to the virtual college fair registration URL. Browse the event speakers and sessions and check out participating colleges on
the college fair website.
- When you're ready, register! For more information on virtual fair registration, see: Registering Students for Virtual Fairs
- Ready to explore the college fair? Let's get you logged in. Click the button on the college fair home page, or the link in your confirmation email.
- Enter the registered email address in the text box. A secure link to enter the virtual fair will be emailed to that address.
- Watch special presentations from speakers on the college search and college application process. Look for sessions that are particularly relevant to you in this part of your college search journey. Most sessions are also available later to watch again, so attend the live sessions where you want to ask questions.
- Use the great filters to search by geographic region, campus size, campus setting, public or private
institution, and more. You’ll uncover new matches that are a great fit for you!!!
- Browse the college virtual booths. Watch videos and special presentations, download a course
catalog or viewbook, and so much more. Plan to come back often and visit booths again. On ‘live’
fair dates, you can even chat live with admissions reps right there in the booth.
Some fairs are hosting scholarships and giveaways so be sure to visit as many booths as you can to
be entered to win those!
