Sponsorships in the Virtual Environment | GoToCollegeFairs

Sponsorships Available to Premium and Enterprise Level Fair Planners

Sponsorships bring much greater value to corporate and community partners.  Best of all, there’s no banners to print; no bags to organize; no flyers to print and pass out!  Below are a few ways you can add sponsors and partners to your college fairs (talk to your program manager about implementation):

Sponsor Graphics, Logos, and Messaging can be placed in several locations throughout your marketing and event websites.  Logos can be clickable links to the sponsor website (be sure to set the site to open in a new window).
  1. The marketing page – this is the page built in Swoogo, where you promote the event
  2. The virtual fair website – this is the virtual venue we call FairStop, where the virtual fair happens
  3. Place logos in the footer of either website, so it will appear on all pages (including the registration form)
  4. A separate, dedicated sponsor page – construct a page to highlight multiple sponsors or an individual sponsor.  Place a button or other call-out on your marketing or fair website page to access the sponsor page.
Waiting Room Graphics, Logos, and Messaging before your presentations.  You can create a PowerPoint slide with your sponsor graphic, logo, or messaging alongside the title of the presentation to display prior to the start of your webinar presentations. You might want to add a countdown timer to this display which shows when participants can expect the presentation to begin.

Sponsor Videos – for your higher-level sponsors, consider a very brief promotional video which airs in one or both of two places:
  1. Post videos on your marketing, virtual event site, or dedicated sponsor pages
  2. Moderators or speakers can introduce your sponsor and play the video at the beginning of sessions (sponsors love a captive audience, this sponsorship can bring in high levels of revenue)
Email Marketing Campaigns – sponsor graphics, logos, and messaging can be included in your invitation or reminder marketing emails with clickable links to the sponsor website.

Printed Barcodes - for in-person fairs, the printed student barcodes have staying power. Students print them out and save them prior to the fair, bring them to the fair, and carry them all day during the fair. Add your sponsors graphics, logos, and messaging to this printed barcode. Sponsorships should be sold exclusively (only one barcode sponsor per event) and will be placed as a compliment to the GTCF logo on the barcode.

Sponsorship Levels – you can opt to create levels of sponsorships in Swoogo (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) to offer different levels of prominence on your event website based on how much they have donated to your event.

For example:  consider using the videos or ads displayed before sessions as your Platinum sponsor, for Gold offer their logos visible on all your web pages, Silver may get something on the marketing page alone, and Bronze sponsors may get an ad at the bottom of the registration page, etc.
