College Fair AI Assistant
Welcome to the College Fair AI Assistant!
The AI Assistant is the in-app fair companion for attendees. This feature is customized for each college fair to include only logistics, information, and colleges at that fair. Ask it about colleges, programs and majors, financial aid, or the fair hours and location. Compare college offerings right in the app. Every answer comes from a trusted source.
The following instructions are helpful, but this assistant is highly intuitive and needs no tutorial. Feel free to open it up and start asking questions; it is conversational and convenient.
You can reach the College Fair AI Assistant inside the Attendee App.
You can ask questions about many topics in the message box.
Every response is based on concrete data, never a guess. The AI Assistant relies on the following sources:
- Fair information (From the Fair Organizer): Including dates, daily hour blocks, venue name, and address.
- Exhibitor list (From the Fair Organizer): Every participating college with its booth or table number — filterable by state, region, or country.
- College profiles (Federal IPEDS Data): Costs, including net price by family income, acceptance rates, SAT/ACT ranges, enrollment, campus life, demographics, graduation and retention rates, athletics, and official web links. Includes nearly all US exhibitors; international schools get a shorter summary.
- Academic programs (Federal Completions Data): Each school’s majors and programs with degree levels, searchable across the whole fair.
If the Assistant doesn't have the data to answer a question, it will be honest: "I don't have that information," so you can trust that responses are accurate.
